Create your Extraordinary Life
By Mohammed | September 5, 2006For most of us, our work takes up the majority of our time. We trade the “stuff” of our lives, our time, for our jobs, to make the living. There are those lucky ones who know they are on the right path and work with passion and joy and then there are others who dread Monday mornings and wait for 5:00 every day.
So if we are committed to creating an extraordinary life we need to consider if trading our time for our work is a fair trade. Living and working with passion and purpose is truly a goal we can all strive for.
Harvey Mackay said “Find something you love to do and you’ll never have to work a day in your life”.
He’s right. Since work takes up so much of our life, to truly live an extraordinary life and create the life we want we must find work that satisfies our dreams, our joys, and our passions.
It is something to think about.

It makes for a great life when you wake up everyday excited that you “get” to go to work, as opposed to I’ve “got” to go to work.

Forgive me, but as I read yur comments I can tell that you are very sincere thinking people, but when you believe that “your thoughts” direct your future, you are taking away the sovereignty of God and putting yourself in the place of God. YOu and I are not Gods, even “little G” gods. We are not! Praise God He does not always give us what we want. He is sovereign and His will determines what we get, even if it is contrary to our desires or will.
