Admittedly I still have to talk myself through it but, I have made great strides. What has helped me is knowing that we are all part of one big picture. Lets look at what is happening today. War against terror, Iraq war, India and Pakistan, War in Africa, Israel and Palestine etc..etc... If we closely observe, the war is actually between the ego and the individual. Its the ego that wants more of the territory or superiority. Thats one reason why nobody could come up with a peace treaty. Even if somebody comes up with a plan it wont be long before ego creates another war. Until each one of us make a conscious decision to overcome our ego, there will be violence in this world.
