Open Up to the Love of the Universe
By Mohammed | February 6, 2007Sometimes you need to open up and allow the Universe to offer you help and consolation.
Earlier today I was in a very negative and disempowered state. I was excessively worried about something. Sure it was an important something. It was something that was easy to worry and fret about. It concerned someone that I love enormously. That doesn’t matter. Worry never solves anything. Spending your energy and time worrying is as bad as wasting your energy and time. It’s just not productive. But when you are in that negative state of worry and fret the fact that you are not being productive does not occur to you.
But the fact of the matter is that worry does not help. It magnifies and exaggerates the situation. It makes everything appear at its very worst. And it prevents you from tapping into your own wisdom and the wisdom of the Universe. When you can tap into the wisdom and power that is inside of you you are empowered to do something about the situation. You can look at the situation with a level head and an open heart and you will know what to do. But so long as your energy is being taken by worry, you can’t help the situation and you are at a loss to solve anything.
I’m very often the one who keeps negative things in. I don’t often allow myself the luxury of asking for help. I guess I must be one of those people who think I should be stronger and no one else needs to know about my problems. But this morning I really needed some advice from some people that I know are empowered and wise and wonderful. I just happen to be part of an incredible email group of like-minded people. So I took a chance, I posted and I asked for help and advice.
I have been amazed and gratified by the outpouring of love that I received from these people who don’t even know me. The tears of worry and agitation turned into tears of joy and gratitude and love when I received so many wise and wonderful responses. Each and every person who responded gave me wonderful advice and each one made me feel so much better. I am now feeling some peace of mind. I am able to look at the situation with a level head and an open heart. I know I will know what to do about this situation now.
If anyone who wrote back to me today is reading this I just wanted and I really needed to publicly express my Gratitude and Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I learned a lesson today. I learned that sometimes it’s okay to ask for help and advice. Sometimes it’s probably the very best thing you could do.
It was for me today.

Our ego often makes it hard to ask for help. Interestingly the universe gives us problems to teach us lessons. If the universe didn’t know we need help, we wouldn’t have been given the problem.
