I don't see this as much in my life with plans of action, but rather with how certain people will (or will not) respond to certain situations. My wife and I have a very consistent group of friends that we see or correspond with frequently, but many of them won't even embrace positive thinking, let alone the Law of Attraction. People are always trying to say things like, "I am going to tell her this, but if...", or "If it was up to me we would do this, but..." People keep thinking that what happens with other people will make or break their own happiness, which is, of course, ridiculous. I always take the attitude of "This is how I feel, and this is what I am going to do. If you don't like it or don't believe that it will be successful, that is okay. I'm going to do it anyway." People are always trying to say things like, “I am going to tell her this, but if…”, or “If it was up to me we would do this, but…”
