Joy Links-Cinco de Mayo

By karen | May 5, 2007

Time for another edition of Joy Links. Today is is a day to celebrate. We have Cinco de Mayo, the Kentucky Derby, the De La Hoya-Mayweather boxing match and my favorite - Game 7 of the Utah Jazz vs. Houston Rockets playoff series in the NBA. To commemorate the day my family has ordered up a “Mexican Pizza”, a wonderful fusion of Mexican and Italian food in the American Tradition.

Today is a day to Celebrate!
Every day is a day to Celebrate!

Enjoy these posts from around cyberspace. I know I did!

1. So how do you stay motivated? Do you have something that can motivate and inspire you? This post gives a wonderful tip that will work for you every time! Record your Successes, the times when you were Fantastic and Fabulous and on Top of your Game! Read Debra Moorhead’s great post “The Motivational Trick that Works-Every Time”.

2. I don’t know if it is obvious but I really love Live the Power. Yes, I really enjoy most everything about it. So when I was invited to participate in a recent meme about the Blog Apocalyse (the end of blogging!) I resisted. I didn’t want to think about an end! But I have read some other bloggers apocalypse posts and one that I found to be very inspiring was from the one who started the meme in the first place. Read “Blog Apocalypse-Unconditional Love” at Urban Monk.

3. I’ve always found pennies here and there and I have always picked them up, said “Thank you” to the Universe, and believed them to be Good Luck. So I could happily relate to this next post “Pennies from Heaven” from Raymond David Salas at ZenChill.com. I especially loved the message of “Pennies from Heaven, reminding me ‘In God we trust.’ I am on the right path, just keep trusting.” The good luck pennies that I find everywhere have now been transformed in my mind to even more Joy and Wonder. Thank you, Raymond!

4. My Grandmother, Bless her Soul, used to Love to clean house. I mean it was her passion. I did not inherit her love for cleaning houses but I have found that I do enjoy cleaning house when I follow the advice Kara-Leah Masina in this next post. “How to LOVE doing housework, in 3 simple steps”. “No expectations, No Agenda, No Thinking” works for me!

5. Live the Power is about creating your best life. You are the only Creator of your life. Read this inspirational post “The Perfect Life” from Kevin at Creative Power of Thought.

6. What do you see when you look at life and everything around you? You have a choice. This next post is a great reminder that you can see “life in all of its brilliance and color”. Read “What are you looking for?” from Dr. Hal at North Star Mental Fitness Blog.

7. In “How to Understand What the Universe Wants to Tell You” Cardin from Optimist Lab very clearly describes experiences that I have come to depend upon in my own life. Her description of the “clairaudient” experience while writing her blog mirrors my own experience. I long ago realized that the best and often most popular posts were the ones that just came to me. I was just blessed to be able to pass it on! We all have a direct line to Source Energy and our own Inner Beings. We just need to listen!

And there you have it. I hope you enjoy the Joy Links for Cinco de Mayo.

A few people recognized Live the Power and sent me some of their own Link Love this week. I want to send out a special Thank you to

Hilda at Living out Loud
Belle at Belle Enchanted
Rick at Shards of Consciousness (Thanks for the tip!)
Zubli Zainordin at Book Project-Unity in Diversity at MyBlogLog

A special note of Appreciation and Gratitude for everybody who stops by Live the Power and leaves comments. You all add your magic and make it more Fun and Joyful for me. It is appreciated!

Tomorrow I am hosting “The Personal Development Carnival” right here. There were some excellent submissions and I was tempted to include a few of them here. But I didn’t so you’ll have to come back by tomorrow. There are some “Must Reads” that I would love to share!

Check it out tomorrow. It will be posted at approximately 11:00 am MDT.

Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Celebrate and Enjoy the Day!

I have that same experience too Karen, the more tuned in I am the clearer the focus–and those are the articles that seem to really touch people. Source just seems to know how to say it so much better than I would on my own.

I love the fact that so many people are having these “intuitive” experiences–Source really is available to everyone.

    Thanks for including my post,
    Cardin
