Feng Shui Cures

By Mohammed | June 5, 2007

So how does the energy of your environment affect you and your life? It would seem to me that if you create your own life then the energy from you would be foremost. But we do get energy from our environment and from other people. Perhaps it is of secondary importance but maybe the energy affects our lives just the same.

There is a whole section of the movie “the Secret” devoted to Feng Shui or the environment that we live it. Remember the guy who painted pictures of distant women? Then he painted a wonderful relationship and it manifested.

So how does our environment affect our manifestations and our lives?

There are a few corners in my town that seem to be jinxed. It doesn’t matter what kind of business goes into these buildings they always fail, even previously successful businesses. The businesses set up shop and within a year or so they are gone. I’ve noticed it many, many times. It seems it happens too often to be coincidence.

The ancient Chinese would say that the buildings have bad feng shui.

Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese practice that states that the placement and arrangement of space affect the harmony and the energy within your environment. This energy, or “Chi” affects your entire life.

I’ve studied a little bit about Feng Shui. I am by no means an expert, and I tend to want to question the theories it purports. Yet some of my own personal experiences seem to back it up. Is it my belief or is it the truth in the theories of Feng Shui?

When Kevin and I first got married we lived in a small apartment. It wasn’t too bad. It worked for the time. But soon after we moved in our financial situation started going downhill. Those were times when it was tough to make the ends meet because someone kept moving the ends! It was a struggle. So since I was learning about Feng Shui, I decided to use some Feng Shui cures (like the guy who painted the new picture!).

According to Feng Shui principles, certain areas of your home (or building or office or whatever) coincide with certain areas of your life. The areas are designated within what is called a “Bagua”.
So I put a “Bagua” up to our apartment and lo and behold our wealth section was in the bathroom. That meant that all of our wealth was essentially being “flushed away”. Well that was sure how it felt at the time so I was ready to work on some remedies.

So since it is impossible to move the bathroom in a small apartment you just have to do whatever it is you can do to remedy the situation. Feng Shui works on order and the flow of energy so part of our remedy was to stop the flow of money and wealth energy from being “flushed away”. So we made a strict rule at our house. The toilet lid is always down. That means that men, women, children, anybody that uses our facilities at any time must lift the lid and put it down when they are done. No exceptions.

Well shortly after we implemented our strict rule about our bathroom our fortunes changed. We were able to move out of that small apartment and into a nice home of our own. And like I said before I don’t know if it was our belief that made it so or if it was the Feng Shui cures but it worked for us.

So it is all very interesting…

I’ve found it is amazing what a little change can do in terms of shifting energy. One of the things I love the most is when someone walks in my house and says “it always feels good in here.” Makes me smile.

The energy shifts really do make a difference. I have experienced too much of it not to know the truth!
