Today one of my daughters has been invited to a lavish affair. The invitation read something like this—

So today I shall make this rather short and sweet to accommodate the Princess.

Another princess starts preschool on Monday, so I have some things to take care of there also.

First off, as I was looking at Blog Carnivals I found one that is just conducting a contest to win a “Mom’s Family Calendar”. Sure, that would be great to keep track of the princesses but it is also a very creative and fun way to get participation from other bloggers, so Check out

Sometimes someone gives you a gift and it means more than they even thought it would. This week my friend Lyman from Creating a Better Life gave me such a gift when he sent me an invitation to join Shelfari. Lately I’ve really been needing to get back to doing more of what I love and more of what I enjoy and reading is right up there on my list. Thank you Lyman. I’ve completely enjoyed myself there this week!

I’ve made a promise to myself to get back into doing more and more of what I love. So that means more reading, more writing, more knitting and more “Windsprints up the Hill” behind my house (that would be exercise! )

What I love about “Live the Power” is the writing, so you’ll be seeing more of that.
