Karen, I have been married to one of my soulmates for over 35 years. I believe we have more than one out there that we travel through lifetimes together. An Indian astrologer told my friend and I that we were soul mates who have been in many lifetimes together. This time we are just friends, not lovers, not spouses, not mother and daughter.

When my friend came to me about 8 months ago and said she had a dream that she and I were going back to India for our 3rd trip together, I smiled and told her that if her dream was true, the Universe would work out all of the details and the trip would happen. Money for the trip started flowing in. I found out in plenty of time that I needed to renew my passport which would have expired in February, too close to our trip so I needed to renew it instead of waiting for it to expire. I found this out by watching Jeff Goldblum on a talk show talking about a recent trip he had made in which he didn’t know about the expiration date having to be more than 6 months away from the dates of your trip. He went to the airport to get on the plane and couldn’t because of the expiration date. He was blessed in that a well-known official was there who got his passport instantly. Without that show and Jeff sharing his experience, I would not have been able to make my flight.

When we allow the Universe to take care of the details, it does an exceptional job, if we let it.

Great post, Karen. Getting past the resistance can be quite the challenge. I’ve learned that if I take a look at my life, and see what it is that I want that I don’t have yet, there’s resistance there on my part!

The guy I referred too though is not only famous but also bringing in the Bucks! Big time!!
Lots of money flowing into his life……
(is that my own resistance showing it’s head?)

it is just semantics!
the stuff we mess with and can’t let go of are the things that we won’t allow!

Not really, but I know that there are a few things that I absolutely resist over and over again and I have a hard time letting go….
It’s just the letting go thing that I think many of us have…..

Of course you’re famous, Karen! People all over the world know who you are.

I like the restaurant story. I usually don’t put what you’re saying in terms of resistance, but have found it to be true. The things we keep niggling at are the things we can screw up, while if we just put it out and let go, things are more likely to work out.
