i&#039;m not sure that emotions in and of themselves are negative.  they are what they are, and as rubin says, it helps to love those &quot;foolish&quot; parts of us.  

the destructiveness and negativity that happens is perhaps not so much because of the emotions but because of what we do with them - how we think about them, how we act and react rashly in the face of them.  

interestingly enough, it appears that when we accept these feelings, but their intensity and our reactivity can decrease dramatically.

... and you may have said all of this yourself but of course you&#039;ve got important things to do!  all the best to your family.</description>
