I like how Aaron phrased it-- there are times I feel like I'm following and other times the energy level is so high that it can only be described as "chasing."

and even spoiled Princesses can offer good advice!

In the second 'Conan the Barbarian' movie, there was a spoiled princess who used the term "I go where I feel myself led," and I thought that was pretty good advice.

I follow my dreams by constantly being on the road towards them, but I chase them by paying attention to the signs that I am given while on that road. :)

I almost feel it depends on what stage of dreaming I am in. For example, some dreams are more general initially. These dreams I try to "flow" with until I have more "specific direction."

However, for my specific dreams, I chase with a desparation (as you mention in your post). They necessitate my focus and energize me. I will chart a course to achieve them.

Thanks for joining in the conversation Lawrence!

I think that it's my past experiences that have brought me to the point of wanting to "Attract" success rather than "chase" it.

I have often written about it here. Here are a couple of posts that may explain it better....
<a href="http://www.livethepower.com/blog/350/stilettos-bootstraps-and-the-laws-of-the-universe/" rel="nofollow" rel="nofollow">Stiletto's, Bootstraps and the Laws of the Universe</a>
<a href="http://www.livethepower.com/blog/251/chasing-butterflies/" rel="nofollow" rel="nofollow">Chasing Butterflies</a>

Actually, perhaps it's more a matter of following my passions, rather than chasing other things like money....

Hi Karen,

I have to agree with John. 'Following' just sounds too passive. I rather 'chase' which is more active.

Like John, once I have my guidance, I actively take actions to chase my dreams. I believe that action breeds success. If we keep taking actions, review, stay on course, success is a definite eventuality. It's only a matter of time.

Having said that, the "review" and "stay on course " portion requires us to follow our guidance so that we don't get sidetracked. Maybe that's where you are coming from with regards to follow your dream?

Wow, thank you! That is exactly the kind of discussion I wanted to start!

Exactly, it is what the words mean to you and the vibration that it evokes.

The point is to make it work for you. After many years of chasing I realized that when I relaxed and went with the flow what I really wanted came to me. So my meanings are different.

Different experiences bring different emotions.
Thank you for your comment, like I said that is exactly the conversation I wanted to start!
