Creating Abundance- Dollars and Pennies
By Mohammed | March 3, 2008A Wise One Will Never Step Over Dollars…
to Pick Up Pennies.
Edit: March 7, 2008—Okay, I have to admit I always pick up the pennies and say “Thank you” to the Universe and acknowledge the words on the coin–”In God we Trust”….I’ve always felt the magic in that and loved pennies….
However, that day I was thinking in terms of time (and to tell the truth-Google Adsense…which has become mere pennies….even for very powerful blogs) and this post
Where one person can attract $1,000,000. per hour and create massive, massive Abundance, and another will attract minimum wage and live in a consciousness and continuity of poverty (minimum wage will never create abundance, at least not in the USA).
And if one can do it….another can also….If one wants to create Abundance they cannot trade their valuable “Time and Energy” for pennies….but they still can pick up the pennies on the ground with Gratitude and Joy!
Thank you…..perhaps that did need some further clarification.
(BTW- just a day or so ago, the list of Forbes Richest came out. Warren Buffet topped the list at some incredibly awesome figure of $66 billion or so!!
I’m sure that Mr. Buffet does not trade his “time and energy” for pennies, but he probably picks them up off the ground!)

Why Pick Up Pennies?
Hey Cribcat,
Do you ever walk down the street
and see a shiny penny sitting
on the sidewalk… only for
you to glance at it and walk
right past?
I make a habit of picking up
pennies no matter what situation
I am in…
And I’ll tell you WHY in a second.
I’ve been in groups of people where
everyone walked past change on the
ground and just dismissed it as
nothing…
then to be disgusted when I pick
it up!
It’s like…
“It’s only a penny! Why would you
do that?”
Well, there’s a couple reasons
I do this… and hopefully you’ll
begin to pick up more pennies
in your own life.
Here they are:
#1 – Every bit of change or resource
that I find is a sign to me from the
Universe that I am loved and cared
for.
It’s more than just a piece of metal
on the ground, it means to me that
someone has went before me to make
sure that I’m safe.
I believe it’s the little things
that make up the magic in our lives.
It’s the little things people do for
us, and it’s those little symbols
to me that make life worthwhile.
#2 – 0.01 or 1,000,000
Of course this is oversimplified but
what is the difference between a
million and a hundredth of one?
Well, a bunch of zeros.
That’s really all.
Wealth, mon-ey whatever is just a
mindset. It’s nothing more and
nothing less.
Because all wealth is simply an
idea – a perception of value
within the minds of men.
So when you put the effort into
taking care of a penny you send
out signals that you are ready
for more.
In the bible there is the great
illustration of the talents.
The master gives his servants
talents to take care of and
make more of – two of the
servants use their talents
to make more where the last
one simple protects the one
he had…
When the master returns he takes
away the talent from the one
who only protected it and gave
it to those who created more
with what they have.
So it comes down to using
all you have in this moment.
Use ALL the resources, people
and all your power you can.
Make the most of yourself
for that is all there is.
And you’ll always continue
to expand, grow and live a
bigger and better life.
With love,

Hey Cribcat….
I absolutely agree–I always pick up the pennies I see on the ground and say “thank you” to the Universe and acknowledge “in God we Trust”
When I wrote this though I was thinking more in terms of time…
http://www.livethepower.com/blog/427/money-by-the-hour/
And if one can use time wisely and attract $1,000,000. per hour…that person will create abundance in life whereas the person working for minimum wage will remain in a poverty consciousness.

You’re exactly right. It’s the programming.
For me it’s been hard to realize that there’s millions of dollars laying around on the ground and in my head. I keep telling myself this as I get stressed. Its starting to sink in. There is no difference between making a thousand or making a million other than mindset. Opportunities will present themselves if you let them otherwise you remain asleep.
