The Law of Compensation
By Mohammed | July 27, 2010
In the 11 Forgotten Laws Bob Proctor and Mary Morrissey discuss the sixth Law of the Universe, the Law of Compensation.
Although most people would associate money with this law, the truth is that we can be paid in 3 ways: Happiness, Wealth and Health. These are the 3 currencies of the universe.
Our level of compensation is entirely dependent on the image we hold of ourselves in our mind. Bob Proctor gave an example of a fish shop where the owners were unorganised, untidy and were often late with deliveries. The fish shop soon failed. Shortly after, new owners came in who kept the shop organised, tidy and delivered on time. They had a different image of themselves and their business in their mind and, as a result, they succeeded in exactly the same shop that another person failed in.
In order to be compensated better, it is important to change your self image. Mary Morrissey gives 3 very quick ways to change your self image and how you are compensated:
1) Look to pay your own way – If you look to getting something for nothing, you are working with a contracting energy. Look towards paying your fair share and you will be in line with the energy of the Law of Compensation.
2) Look for value instead of price – If you first look at price and seek out the cheapest things, you are again working with a contracting energy. Look for value and work with this abundant energy.
3) Pay your bills on time and with gratitude – We all have bills to pay. However, the way in which we pay our bills determines how we work with this law. When you are next paying your telephone bills, be grateful of all of the phone calls you could make because of it. When you are paying your electricity bill, be grateful for everything in your home that is run by electricity. By doing this, you will start working with a positive energy that works in harmony with the Law of Compensation.
Take some time today to apply the Law of Compensation. Are you happy with how life is compensating you? If not, which of the 3 factors that Mary Morrissey gave can you change to ensure that you work in line with this law?

Very interesting and informative. I always pay my bills, sometimes not on time because I am short on money since my husband died a few months ago and I am having to work overtime just to make ends meet. I never thought about looking at bill paying this way. With the new month coming up, this is the perfect opportunity to practice that.
