The Prosperity Game
By karen | May 17, 2007
Today I lived out a fantasy. Today I went to Amazon.com and I bought my “Wish List”. I didn’t buy a book or two, No. Today I went all out and I bought the entire list. After that I realized that many of the books on gardening that I had wanted were not on the original list (change of emails, computers and all) I went back to Amazon and purchased about 10 more books. I ended up purchasing 260 books and products for a grand total of $3696.79. Amazon generously kicked in free shipping.
It was a glorious experience!
I am happily anticipating the boxes and boxes that will be arriving at my home within the next few days. I will be receiving all of the books that I have wanted on “The Law of Attraction”, Personal Development, Spirituality, Knitting, Watercolor, Exercise. I will have books that will teach me how to “Green clean” my house and how to eat “Raw” (not sure I want to do that but I find it interesting!). I will receive Yoga DVD’s and Meditation CD’s and even a few music CD’s. Tomorrow I think I may go back and purchase “Fiesta ware” in every color of the Rainbow. I might as well because I have more than enough money to buy anything that I want.
It is a glorious experience!
This has become one of my favorite games to play. I learned it from Abraham-Hicks. It is one of the processes outlined in their incredible book “Ask and It is Given” (absolutely the one book on “the Law of Attraction” I would recommend if you could only buy one). The processes are designed to improve your point of attraction and they are all incredibly effective ways to change your thinking.
When you change your thinking, you change your life.
The process is called “The Prosperity Game”. It really helps you expand your capability to imagine and visualize, it assists you in clarifying your desires, and it can help you allow more abundance to come into your life due to your improved vibration.
There are no rules per se but the way that it is explained you get a checkbook, or a ledger of some sort and you make deposits (imaginary, of course, stick with me here!) and then you joyfully find ways to spend the money. You start with a deposit on $1000. and the next day you deposit $2000, the next day $3000 dollars and so on. If you were to consistently play the game for an entire year you will have deposited and spent more than $66 million dollars! You make it as real as possible in your imagination by doing whatever it is that will take you to the “feeling place”. It is a wonderful game, just play with it and mold it and imagine it.
Do you think that could raise your “Money Consciousness”?
Yes!
It also helps you to uncover hidden beliefs that are holding you back. I have played it before and I realize that I get to a point where I stop. My resistance becomes too high and I stop playing the game. Perhaps my subconscious mind gets to a certain price point and then it tells me that that is where I need to stay. It is a good amount but it is nowhere near the $66 million I would have spent had I played for a year. It seems to happen at a number that I earned in the past in one month by myself, not my husband and myself together, but just me. I can break through that imagined barrier and attract more money! If I keep playing past that resistance point I know that my “money consciousness” will expand.
And that is why I play the game!
So my goal in playing the game this time is to break through that arbitrary stopping point. There is so much abundance in this world that we all can have as much as our heart desires.
Abraham makes a promise at the end of the explanation of “the Prosperity Game”.
That sounds wonderful to me! And all the while I am having fun doing it!

Hi!
We’ve adapted this game! We see how we can spend the money through GIVING — thereby expanding our Prosperity Consciousness and invoking the never-ending Cycle of Giving and Receiving! What a thrill to experience the joy of being able to sponsor scholarships, support friends in their manifestation of using their gifts, provide aid and assistance to those experiencing difficult situations! Opportunities to give are endless when you have this much to spend! And a side benefit of our version: we’ve actually ended up giving from what we have, which opens us up to receive more!! It’s an amazing adventure that we recommend to everyone!! Blessings and prosperity!

That’s great!
When I play I have always dedicated 10% to charity and 10% to charity. As those (imaginary but fun) accounts grow it is sooo much fun to watch and then allocate the charity money. I’ve sent this “charity” money to many different and worthy causes and it all felt good!!
Fun, fun game! don’t you agree!
