Visualization Realization
By karen | May 30, 2007
I remember years ago learning about visualizing. The way I understood it back then you saw this thing that you wanted in your mind in all of its details and then the Universe was clearly able to understand what you wanted and then you would be able to manifest it.
You had to be specific. Tell the Universe exactly what you wanted.
It sort of seemed like a chore, sort of difficult. It didn’t exactly work. I was always afraid that I would miss some important part and then I would end up manifesting something else and not really what I wanted.
See I had too many people, who didn’t know enough, trying to teach me what I so badly wanted to know. Whew!
I was always able to daydream. I was always able to visualize. That was never the problem. The problem was trying to make sure that the visualization was everything I wanted.
But I have learned something of great value.
Your visualization does not have to include every single detail.
You don’t have to visualize to tell the Universe what it is that you want.
The Universe already knows what you want!
You visualize so you can become more in alignment with what it is that you want. You visualize for the entertainment and the distraction so that you can get into a happy and joyful place and “Allow”.
You visualize for the Joy and the Pleasure. You don’t visualize to make something happen.
You visualize because in that state of daydreams and happiness you become closer to Source, you become more in alignment with “Who you are” and “What you want” and then you “Allow” it to happen.
Visualizing is fun and joyful and playful and wonderful. If it becomes anything less than that then “Stop”. Don’t make it hard. Don’t make it difficult.
Visualize for the Joy of it. Visualize for the Fun of it.
And then you will “Allow” your dreams to happen.

Karen,
Great post! Really brings it home that visualization is something that we do for ourselves! This will help people to manage their expectations because as you said, it’s about getting closer to Source. That is all that really matters, because everything else comes from that.
Thanks for the great reminder, Karen!

Thanks, Aaron! Yes, visualizing is fun and joyful and wonderful but it is only to help you get into alignment.

Visualization is one of my favorite parts of the LOA. It can be so much fun. I’m glad you learned to do it without stress.
