So what is going on the first Seven days of September, you ask?
Live the Power
is hosting a Celebration, a Huge and Magnificent, Glorious Celebration!!
Why?
Because it is our Birthday!!
On September 5th, 2006 the first post was posted on the Live the Power Blog. This Blog will be 1 year old on September 5!
But that is not our only birthday to celebrate the first week in September!
On September 7, (a very lucky day!) it is also my birthday!
(That would be Karen-author extraordinaire of the Live the Power Blog)
So we can’t think of a better reason to celebrate so we are going all out.
But all of you get the presents!
There will be contests with prizes, fun and games for bloggers and readers!

Reader Appreciation Rules

For every comment you leave on any post (spammers not included! I get tons of spam so in order for me to recognize your comment, you’ll need to put some thought into it!)
you get 5 points. The reader with the most points at the end of the Seven Weeks, August 31, 2007 will be rewarded with the #1 Reader Appreciation Award, a $50 Amazon Gift Certificate, on September 7, 2007 at 7:17 am, MDT. There will also be random drawings throughout the week for other wonderful prizes. But you must make a “comments” to be included in the contest and the drawings. Make sure and include your email so I can keep track of you!

Bloggers will have to put forth a bit more effort but you will all be rewarded with “bloggers dreams” of Link Love and Traffic!! Plus there are some cool prizes for you during the 1st Seven Days of September. So I’m hoping for mass participation! You will get points for every effort you make to help me reach my goals and you’ll get Link Love and traffic too! It’s a Win-Win situation for all!
1. Meme: Write an “Unlimited Power” post. Live the Power is about self-empowerment and tapping into the magic that we all have inside to create our best lives. So I challenge you to write a post about what that means to you. It can be about overcoming challenges, reaching goals, achieving dreams, or just living the life that you want. It can be about Life Lessons, Empowering Resources or Daily Habits. It can be about past, present, future.
You are all amazing and creative individuals, you decide what to write. Just make sure that you have a link back to the “Seven weeks to Seven Days” project and “Live the Power”.
Just participating by writing the Meme= 50 points.
But that is not all. Tag other bloggers, as many as you wish (perhaps Seven or more!) and for every blogger that participates in the meme and links back to you and to me you will get 25 points.
Refer other bloggers=25 points.
2. Link Love- We all love Link Love! So for every individual post you write where you post a link back to any article on Live the Power (there are over 230 posts now and more up and coming so look around, find something wonderful to share with your readers!) You will be rewarded with 25 points.
P.S. This even includes Blog Carnival posts! (for submissions from this day on. Submissions from the past cannot count!).

3. Submissions to the Live the Power Unlimited Carnival= 10 points. Each carnival is limited to 20 submissions so get your submission in early! (Submissions must be applicable to the content of the carnival-happy, joyful, uplifting, positive!)

Wow, what a great way to celebrate your birthday and that of your blog! I can tell you went all out thinking this up, so big props to you for that! It’s a great way to build up awareness of your site as well as building the blogging community as a whole.
