Mindfulness and Manifestation
By karen | July 26, 2007
Our lives are made up of moments, just short flashes of time, connected into the hours that lead into the days. We can only live in the moment at hand, the here and the now is the only point of attraction that we can control in our lives, yet how often do we miss that here and now? How often do we miss those precious moments?
We often lose time when we are immersed in a joyful activity and we are living our bliss. And while we may not be aware of the passage of time in those instances, that is often when we are feeling the most joy.
That is when we are the most present in our lives. It is also the times when the Law of Attraction works in our favor and our vibrations are such that we are attracting the things that we want most.
But how often are we missing the moments and actually creating what we don’t want because we are fretting about the past, worrying about the future or agonizing over the things we cannot control or change? In those instances our point of attraction is on the things we really do not want yet our lack of mindfulness keeps us from that realization. When we are not even aware of our thoughts how can we change them to improve our point of attraction?
The moments that we are fretting, worrying and agonizing are the moments that are lost in our lives, the moments that are essentially wasted. We don’t even see the passage of time, our activities and thoughts are a jumble and everything in our lives is much less productive than if we had practiced a little more mindfulness, a little more awareness.
There is a peace and a tranquility that can be found from being present in the here and now. It is just noticing your thoughts and activities, feeling the nuances, seeing the beauty, sensing your life. When you become intentionally aware of your thoughts and actions in the present moment, you can realize and you can determine your point of attraction.
You are then in a position to become a deliberate creator in your life.
Practice a level of mindfulness. Notice the moments of your life. Be aware of your thoughts and actions before those moments slip away.

By not paying attention to this I ended up in a slump that took me long to get out of. But once you are happy it gets easy to feel when discomfort starts to slip in and we can adjust moment to moment. Nothing more important than to watch how we are feeling, now, and now, and now, and now…

Amanda,
I love your attitude that the money just comes in when you need it!
It works too doesn’t it?
Thanks for stopping by!

[…] I had a serendipitous moment as I was writing this article. I believe that it came to me via the Spirit and I was meant to read the words Karen wrote at Live the Power today in her post entitled “Mindfulness and Manifestation“: Our lives are made up of moments, just short flashes of time, connected into the hours that lead into the days. We can only live in the moment at hand, the here and the now is the only point of attraction that we can control in our lives, yet how often do we miss that here and now?
