Recycled Power- the Enigma-October 21, 2007

By karen | October 21, 2007

This morning in my corner of the world, we woke up to a blanket of snow. It is a thin blanket, only 2 to 3 inches. It will likely be melted away before the end of the day. I have so many memories of October snow, mostly good memories, one very sad memory.
The snow brings me to a melancholy state of mind.

The backyard…..

The frontyard….

Guess that won’t last long as I can hear my daughters, digging out their snow boots as I write this. It will be an adventure. Don’t think we’ll stay out long though as the snow looks very wet, very cold, unlike the “Greatest Snow on Earth” that will reach us later in the year.

Today’s recycling project brought to you by the Enigma that is Life.

1. Action from December 15, 2006

2. The Pursuit of Happiness from December 14, 2006.

3. Distractions on the Way to Success from December 19, 2006.

Have a wonderful day. Remember to feel the gratitude for your blessings.

I’m envious that mountain foothills are in view of your backyard, Karen. What state do you live in?

    Debbie,
It really is breathtaking isn’t it? I have often mentioned that I live in a really beautiful place and it really is….
I live in the Land of “the Greatest Snow on Earth”
    That would be Utah.
I live in a suburb of Salt Lake City.

I’m surprised your yard isn’t on a postcard, Karen. It’s beautiful.

My son’s outside Denver. Yesterday he called and said it was in the 70s. Today he called and said it was in the 30s and would we please send his warm clothes. :)

    Thank you Rick.
I have to agree, I think it is so beautiful.

We have a promise of 70 again by Wednesday, but today it was so chilly. We even turned on the furnace for the first time.
But that is Fall in the Rockies, 30 one day, 70 the next. I actually think that Denver is a little worse than we are with the changes in the temps. We are more of a desert here in Utah.

Better send him some warm clothes, he’ll need them!
