Law of Attraction on T.V.
By karen | October 23, 2007
I don’t watch a whole lot of T.V. but there are a few shows that I really enjoy watching. The ones that make me laugh are the best. Last night one of my favorite shows, “Two and a Half Men” made me laugh and it also had a great Law of Attraction lesson. Just to lighten the mood around here, I am going to share the lesson and then I’ll remember and laugh again.
If you watch the show, you probably seen the lesson but if not I will give a short synopsis.
The show has Charlie, his brother Alan and Alan’s son Jake, (that would be the Two and a Half Men). Alan is a neurotic Chiropractor and Charlie makes a living composing “Jingles” for commercials and advertising. Charlie is the one with the money and the nice house on the beach and Alan and Jake live with him.
Well in last nights episode, Charlie had not had a paying “gig” for about 9 months. Alan was freaking out about going broke, not being able to pay for this or that, trying to fire their hilarious housekeeper, Berta and just fretting and worrying about not having money.
Charlie just said, “Don’t worry! Something will come up” and he just kept on having fun and enjoying life.
There was even a part where Alan said “Charlie, you can’t just trust the Universe to take care of you”
And Charlie responded with “Of course I can, Alan. Do you know how I started making money composing Jingles?”
Alan says “No”
Charlie says “Neither do I! See something will come up”
Well, Alan didn’t believe it and he went to some medical testing place to test drugs for $1000 a month.
He asked about the possible side effects and the Doctor had a whole list of terrible things that could happen, things like hair falling out, skin boils, and a whole laundry list of “ughs” (you know, hot dog finger, german shepherd face…..nah, just kidding). But Alan was in that desperate mode and he was willing to do just about anything for $1000 a month.
Well at the end of the show, Alan was a mess from the side effects of the drugs. His hair was falling out and he had big boils all over his body. He looked really gross and things just kept going wrong for him. He had actually manifested every possible side effect and then some.
And Charlie who wasn’t worried and knew that something would come along got a phone call from his new girlfriends ex-husband who was in the music business. The ex-husband offered Charlie a very lucrative contract to record children’s albums. He almost turned it down because he usually composed jingles but the money was to good to pass up.
Anyway it was pretty hilarious and such a great example of the Law of Attraction. Both Charlie and Alan attracted to them what they were thinking about and what they were vibrating.
Alan was freaked out and he attracted a million freaky problems.
And Charlie was happy and calm and trusting in the Universe and he attracted a lucrative new contract.
And the lesson is….
Be like Charlie!

That’s so amazing, Karen. I’ve never watched that show, but my wife and I actually started taping it since my father-in-law is going to be on an upcoming episode as an extra. The episode you write about is the first one I’d ever seen… and I just knew that “something was going to come up” for Charlie.
Sometimes the most important lessons come from the strangest places…

Oh Lyman,
You have missed some fun and hilarity! Two and a half men is funny, funny, funny!
Glad you caught that episode though!
I’d look for your father-in-law in a future episode except I don’t know what to look for!!

Hey Karen
LOL..what a good way to tell this story and relating it to Law of attraction. Well put and I totally agree with you that, what we think about most and focus on, will be the vibration we are sending to the universe. It is like a boomerang, it will certainly come back.

Hi Karen,
I’ve wanted to see this show, but I’m setting limits on how much TV I watch. I work for a cable company and have tv on all day, so I see a lot anyway.
I love finding lessons of Law of Attaction on TV, in movies, etc.
Have a great day.
