    Hey, Karen, that’s cool.

“Laughter is the best nutritions” :D

I have changed that quote, I prefer nutritions to medicines obviously:)

Nice to see you in real time.

    Blessings
    Gamy

I’m on your mailing list. I watched your video .
    My question is this….

A teacher who is attempting to teach, without inspiring the pupil with a desire to learn, is hammering on a cold iron.

What is the purpose of this clip?

In this age, the mere example of nonconformity, the mere refusal to bend the knee to custom, is itself a service.

What service are you providing me by asking me to watch this video clip.
My sense is you want to sell people the idea that they can have something they don’t have now.

I’m frankly uninspired by your attempt, and will opt out of your mailings.

21 years of meditation at the feet of my Guru has shown me that what you offer is a thin gruel indeed.

The law of attraction is probably the simplest law to operate in this universe. More crucial is the law of finding a portable paradise within oneself. The law of attraction is subservient to the law of oneness with Bliss, which delivers all mundane pleasures in this world.

I wish you well with your marketing endeavors. There are many people interested in what you are flogging.

    Warm Regards,,

    Francis

Hi Karen: Nice to “meet” you! I think it is wonderful to be able to hear your voice (and that laugh is infectious), see your face, and get to know you better. Hope you post more videos!

    Karen,

Great to get to know you so much better! On the ‘net and in the blogosphere we may see pictures and read people’s words, but a video or an audio file helps us get to know them on a much more personal level.

    Great stuff! :)

I will eventually start playing around with video myself, although I’ve got some audio stuff that I’ll be working on first. In the meantime, hope to see more videos from you!

    Karen:

Very nice! You certainly have a very warm, loving energy.

Now all you need to do is learn how to subtitle it and it’s very easy.

Check out www.overstream.net The tutorial is very easy to follow and there is a slight learning curve but I mastered it on my FIRST day and believe me, I’m a techie-phobe kind of person!

I plan to do a full article in the near future on exactly how to do this.

Thanks for a nice, warm, inviting video of yourself!

Karen, is it really that simple to make a video. Just have fun and tell it like it is. Is this really what you are saying?
I think I just need to jump right into the water and not worry about how cold it is.
    Working up the courage.

    Rose,
Excellent question….and I’ve been there but I did find a great Love (that would be 16 years ago on Valentines Day!!)

  20. karen Says:

    Irene,
    It really is very simple.
To tell the truth the hardest part for me was just seeing myself….I don’t look how I imagined I look (not a 25 year old, skinny and beautiful anymore!) and then I tend to look at all of my faults. Bad habit!

    Hi Karen
Your book live the power as really changed my life and the way i think now. Whats your take on the SECRET?

  24. karen Says:
    February 27th, 2008 at 11:20 am

    Michelle,
I am so glad you enjoyed it. It has always been one of my favorite books and one of my first intros (clear back in the early 80’s) to the LOA and creating your best life (you are talking about “the Power of the Subconscious Mind” right?)
Alas, I cannot take credit though as it was written long ago by a very wise man, Dr. Joseph Murphy.

As for “The Secret”, I loved it. I saw the original version the first week it came out and I am incredibly grateful for the original version because it brought me to who I believe are the absolute best teachers of LOA on the planet and that is Abraham-Hicks. ( I am forever grateful and I have felt great Love).

The “expanded version” no longer includes Esther Hicks (she was edited out and Lisa Nichols and Marci Shimoff’s roles were expanded)
but it is still very good and it has been a wonderful thing for expanding the awareness of many, many people.

    Thanks for your comment.

    Karen,

I was going thruogh my spam and noticed Your emails.
Three things that I’d like to point out.
    1. I don’t care what You’re selling, it’s just nice to have a positive message come through email.
    2. The youtube video gives someone a chance to see Your face and that is important.
You may not win an Oscar but good concept.

    3. The Secret is only a jump off point for further investigation. Theres going to be some people who jump and then catch the cliff with their fingernails and never leave the nest. Use what feels good for You. Learn to Fly!

    Thank you for your emails.

    God Bless You
