The Value of Contrast
By karen | October 28, 2006
It’s valuable to help you figure out what you “don’t want” in order to become really clear on what you do want. It’s valuable to compare what your life was to what your life has become to feel appreciation.
If you acknowledge to yourself even the slightest improvements that you have made you are on your way to creating bigger and better improvements.
My life has changed in many ways for the better. When I think back on the contrast of where I was I am so grateful for where I am now. And gratitude is a wonderful thing to feel.
Consider the value of contrast in creating your life. When you see someone that is where you don’t want to be, feel grateful that you’re not there but don’t get caught up in their muck, Focus on what you do want.

Good Day My Friend!
It is always interesting to look back and realize all that we’ve learned and accomplished. Sometimes, we tend to disregard the steps we’ve made towards who we are today. I pat myself on the back for all my “baby steps”, and remember to be grateful for the hardships…because they were the ones that made me go beyond who I thought I was.
Thanks for helping me remember.
All my love,
Mudd

Yes, every step can lead us. Are we going in the direction of our dreams or the opposite? Hardships and problems can make us stronger. It often depends upon our interpretations.
Thank you, Mudd!

The value of contrast is a wonderful tool. We just need to remember not to focus to heavily on the negative. Acknowledgement is good, as long as we remember focus on being grateful for what we have.
