Make Your Decision
By karen | September 26, 2006
How do you become a Success? The short answer is “decide to become a success”. The key word here is “Decide”.
“Once you make a decision the Universe conspires to make it happen.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson
1803-1882
When you truly “decide” to do something, achieve something, become something, you make a promise to yourself. A promise that you will do it no matter what happens. That you will “keep on keeping on” until you achieve your goal, no matter what it takes.
That is the kind of decision that will propel you to success. Like Ralph Waldo said –The Universe will conspire to help you make it happen. Whatever you need to make your goal a reality will appear in your life and you will be able to make the best use of those things. If you need people, they will come into your life. If you need money you will somehow be able to get it. Everything that you need will be there for you.
This actually is less “magic” than it sounds. The fact of the matter is that when you make a decision to achieve your goal, your mind is open, you are receptive and creative and you are able to see possibilities and opportunities that you may have missed in the past. The Universe may be “conspiring” but you are able to recognize and take advantage of what the Universe offers because you made the decision. You made the decision to succeed at your goal and you will. You will succeed because you have no other option if you want to keep your promise to yourself.
This kind of decision is not the kind of decision that says, “I’ll try this and see if it works out”. The kind of decision that propels you to success says “I’ll do it, no matter what happens, no matter what setbacks I have, no matter how much I have to change my approach, I will succeed at my goal”
This kind of decision is absolute– An absolute commitment, an absolute promise, and an absolute guarantee that you will succeed.
How do you become a success….Decide!
